Richard
was born in 1951. He attended Art College in the 60's and then
he travelled around
the world. He started working with wood in 1975 for artistic purposes
and then for architectural reasons in 1977. He is self-taught.
Since then he has continued to create one off designs. His clients
range from the Church of England and the English aristocracy to
pop stars and farmers.
His work has been featured in many newspaper
and magazines, television programs and books. He has lectured at
York University for the Institute of Advanced Architectural Studies,
The Greenwood Trust and London's Guildhall. He
said, "I did it once to see if it was possible after that
I did it to see if it was beautiful". |
